After one semester in Innsbruck (one of the prettiest place to spend the winter) and another in Rome (with all it’s glorious history and heritage), I came to Göttingen for the third semester of my Masters. This place has a good University and a brilliant department, but for travelling around Göttingen does not offer much options. I would have been really disappointed, but to compensate for the lack of awesome places, Göttingen has some amazing people including two of my friends (Achintya and Ananya) from my college in India… (and of course, Stephanian Connection works wonder everywhere :)).
So, when a common friend Urvashi came to visit us here, we decided to explore some places nearby Göttingen, as none of us had any idea what to show her in our own city. Thus came the plan to visit Kassel (one hour from Göttingen by train). Not knowing what to expect, we left for this small city and the rest I will better describe in pictures 🙂 :
