In the City of ‘The Sound of Music’…

Salzburg – the birthplace of Mozart!!

Of all the places in Austria, including the gorgeous Vienna and the snow-queen Innsbruck, my favorite is the city of ‘The Sound of Music’ aka the birthplace of Mozart – Salzburg!! A small city in midst of Alps, with more number of tourists than local people in peak season, this place is one of the most beautiful city I have ever been to! The old city of Salzburg is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is well-preserved! Here are few photographs clicked on 8th September 2010 in this charming city!!
