‘God said – Let there be Light!! And there was light’.

I started with this Journey of life, after years of preparation to step into the Real World, from what I call my Second Home – St. Stephen’s College!!

Life unfolded beautifully!!! Physics – Spic Macay and the people – Social Service League – Simi, Sam, Thressy – Electronics Society – Student’s Union and the elections – Harmony… (Oh! The list, if I continue with, will be another blog altogether)…

What a Warm Welcome to the World!!

A bunch of young students from Different Parts of India… We all entered the Stephanian Era… we studied with Bikram(Phookun) and Vikram(Vyas)… measured the height of that College Cross with the Sextant from Andrew’s Court and showed off ‘being Sciencee’… got introduced to the Idea of Quantum Mechanics, coupled with the horror of Quantum Marks from AG… although complained a lot but enjoyed doing those endless Error Analysis… and at the end of each year managed to do the almost-impossible – getting all the experiments checked… fought together and saved our enthusiasm from being shattered by the pressure and the very presence of Jan Tests… and every April, recolored our Marksheets brilliantly with those DU Finals… and in midst of all these, created a bond too strong to be broken by being in opposite camps during those passionate Election-times…

From the Fresher’s Welcome till Farewell – We stayed, united, and strong, in our goal to ‘seek perfection’ (as Thampu said, and we nodded, during the first assembly in the first year) and Loved every moment spent together!!!

But Robert Frost rightly says –

The Woods are Lovely Dark and Deep
But I have Promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep

We entered the Black Body Box… and emerged out of it after three years… enriched and enlightened… ready to take our Beloved Country India to another Level…. and to Brighten the Lives of everyone around us with the sacred Light of Life… for Noone shall ever Walk in Darkness again… for ‘Life is a Celebration’!!!
